A 'Bedelbrett', a collection board whose name shares etymological roots with the word 'betteln' (to beg), is used to gather the voluntary donations after church services. The carved relief depicts St George. Water paints were added in 1939.
The board is mounted on the tip of the steeple on St Mary's in Barth together with historical medallions.
