Pot for cream, shaped like a cow
- coloured printing
- around 1900
- length: 17 cm
The porcelain cow has a larger opening on its back to add cream or milk.
It has a smaller spout at its mouth. The curved tail us used as a handle. A section of the beach with the bathing establishment and the fishing boats, beneath them the caption 'Baltic Resort Prerow (Darß)', are printed on the pot. Decorative and functional elements are combined.
It is a typical souvenir of this period, a keepsake brought back from travels, specifically manufactured to remind its owner of a certain region.
