The three-armed candleholder is a representative decorative piece from Neustrelitz palace from the 2nd half of the 19th century. It is a twisted series product in the historism style.
The Mecklenburg Foundation acquired the candleholder in 1986 from its private owner for the exhibition in its new home in “Haus Mecklenburg” on the Ratzeburg cathedral island.
