Baroque cstle garden Schwerin

Baroque gardens were decorated with castles and stately homes. The shapes were playful, the cascades higher, the fountains arranged close to one another. Water in every form became one of the main design instruments. Tree plantations attracted and blocked vision. Fields of view became “delayed vistas.” With its regular symmetrical structures nature was subject to human creative will.
